Practical Advice

Clothing
Please ensure that children wear suitable clothing for their WildChild activity/party. Most outdoor activities will continue in the event of rain and in cold/wet weather, warm clothing, waterproofs and sturdy shoes or boots are essential.   For outdoor activities, it is advisable for each child to bring a spare set of clothes, in case they get excessively muddy or wet.   In hot weather, please remember to bring sun cream and protective headwear.

Supervision
Each activity will be supervised by a trained instructor(s). In addition, a minimum of one Wildchild host will be in attendance.  For Party Bookings, Wildchild requires at least one adult to accompany and be responsible for the group at all times.

Sick Children
If a child becomes ill during a Wildchild birthday party, the supervising adult will be asked to look after the child and arrange for him/her to be collected.  For activities where a parent is not present and a child becomes ill,  a parent will be contacted and the child must be collected.

Medication
Neither WildChild staff nor our instructors can administer any medication to children including sun cream.
Drinks and Refreshments
Refreshments are provided with all Wildchild Parties.  For active and creative days children must bring ample drinks, and a packed lunch for all-day activities.

What not to Bring
We recommend that mobile phones and electronic games are not brought to any activity/party. WildChild accept no responsibility for any personal loss which may be incurred during the activity.
Photographs
Photographs may be taken of the activities for future publicity. If you do not want your child to be photographed, please let us know.

Care of Children
Children will be supervised at all times. If a child is unsure about any activity, they will be encouraged to watch until they feel more confident, or until the activity is finished.
Collecting Children
Please pick up your child promptly at the end of an activity. If you have arranged for another parent to pick up your child, please provide details to your Wildchild Host. Please help to assist us by ensuring to collect your child straightaway if they are ill, or to arrange for somebody else to collect them.

Behaviour
For the safety of other participants, we reserve the right to refuse to allow any child demonstrating unacceptable behaviour to participate in an activity.
Complaints
