Terms & Conditions - Birthday Parties

Please take time to read the following terms and conditions carefully as they form the basis of the contract between yourself and Wildchild.

A Contract
After receipt of your booking and payment, you will receive written confirmation providing full details of your booking, and at this point a contract exists between Wildchild and you, the customer.  If after receipt of your written confirmation, you think anything is incorrect please contact us straight away.

Age Groups
We have specified age groups suitable for all our activities but if your child or another participant is not within the specified age groups, please contact us to discuss options.

Activities
We cannot guarantee to fit every activity into our events due to weather and other unforeseen conditions. Where an activity is planned for outside and the weather conditions cause concern for safety, an alternative activity will be introduced.

Equipment
We provide all the specialist equipment that is essential for our activities, though where appropriate for outdoor activities, children do need to bring appropriate clothing/waterproofs and footwear.

Supervision
Children are supervised at all times although an adult must accompany and be responsible for the group at all times. Trained instructors take responsibility during activity sessions. It is important that children listen and adhere to all instructions. They provide vital information for children and their safety.  In making a booking for a party/activity, parents acknowledge the risks associated with activities of this type.
Personal Injury/Liability
Wildchild or the organisations providing facilities and their respective agents, servants and employees, are not under any liability whatsoever in respect of personal injury, loss or damage however caused whilst in attendance on any activity.

Payment and changes to booking
·          To secure a party booking, a deposit of £50 (payable to “Wildchild”) must be sent with a completed booking form.
·          Full payment should be received 4 weeks before the party date.  Please note, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee equivalent to 10% of the total party cost for changing arrangements previously agreed.
·          No refunds will be made for those children not attending.

Cancellations
If you have to cancel, for whatever reason, your deposit will be forfeited to cover our costs. If we receive your written cancellation within the following time periods, the respective charges will be made:

·          More than 4 weeks written notice – Loss of Deposit
·          Four to Two weeks written notice – 40% refund
·          Less than Two weeks written notice – No refund (however, deposit will be transferred to any Wild Party re-booked within a 12 month period).
The date of effective cancellation is calculated on the day of receipt of written notification at Wildchild.

If we are forced to make changes
Wildchild will do its utmost to provide all of the arrangements that have been confirmed, but must reserve the right to alter or cancel any activities, or other arrangements if operational, weather or other considerations dictate. If we have to make a major change to your booked party, we will offer a suitable alternative if available, or 100% refund, if we are not able in our opinion, to offer an alternative that is sufficiently comparable.

Any complaints
If there is any problem with your booking please contact us as soon as possible either by email at info@wildchildactivities.com or by phone 0845 3717099.
Your responsibility
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to advise Wildchild of a child’s dietary requirements at the time of booking. This information will be reconfirmed to you in our documentation.

It is also the responsibility of the parent/guardian or other person acting in ‘loco parentis’ to fully advise Wildchild, when booking, and then follow this up in writing, of any illness, disabilities, social or behavioural problems that a child currently has, or has recently experienced, which might affect the child or other children during the activity/ies. We will naturally treat any personal information sensitively and respect confidentiality. We are committed to making our activities as accessible to as many children as possible, however, very occasionally we may not be able to provide the service required and will refund any difference.

We reserve the right to exclude any child whose behaviour is deemed to be inappropriate.

Personal Property
Wildchild does not accept responsibility for guest’s property of any description.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any party venue or activity area.

Data Protection
Your information will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and will only be used for the purposes of WildChild.

Photography
Some photographs may be taken of the activities for future publicity. If you do not want your child photographed, please make a note on the booking form.
