Wild Fashion-Designers (8-12 years)
Do you doodle fashion ideas in your spare time? Do you dream of becoming a fashion-designer or simply want to express creativity through fashion and design?
Wild Fashion-Designers teaches you how to express your own style through good design and find out what it takes to be a fashion designer, including;
The Mood Board - Using inspiration from photographics and favourite images
Fashion Collections - What makes a good collection. Exploring the history of fashion and individual designer's trademark styles
Developing Design Ideas - Taking initial ideas and turning them into strong designs. Experimenting with colour, materials and texture.
With the help of our Fashion Tutor and using your Mood Board for inspiration, you can then develop your creative ideas to transform an out-of-date garment into something new and trendy, using various fabrics and art materials. You will also learn through magazines and various resources about up-and-coming fashion trends, how to revamp your wardrobe and all about fashions's "do's and don'ts".

What to tell your parents
Age: 8-12 years

What to Bring: One item of clothing or accessory that you would like to rework and update (from charity shop or from wardrobe, e.g T-Shirt, Jacket, Bag, Jeans) Instruction: Fully qualified and experienced Design Tutor. (All instructors are CRB checked and £5M Public Liability Insurance is held.
