Wild Animation (8-12 years)
A fantastic opportunity for children to learn how, what they love on the screen, actually got there! We cover the history of animation from the earliest attempts around the turn of the last century, through Disney and right up to the heights it hits today with Aardman and Pixar mega-productions.
They will be drawing, model-making, operating equipment,learning about how to create sound effects and demonstrating the ability to take the whole thing and pull it together as a director. Children will also get a chance to try pixilation, involving animating and filming themselves and each other to create amazing effects such as the appearance of flying or ice-skating on film!
Who knows, Wild Animation could possibly open their eyes to a whole new future career direction!

Ability: All
What to Bring: All equipment is included. Please bring packed lunch and drinks.
Instruction: Fully qualified and experienced Animation Tutors (All instructors are CRB checked and £5M Public Liability Insurance is held.
Times: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Cost: £25*
