Wild Wheels Beginners Saturday Skateboard School covers the basic moves and key concepts behind skateboarding… BALANCE, CONTROL and CONFIDENCE. Achieved through practice, you will learn through getting to grips with:

- Learning what stance to adopt on the board and how to get from one stance to another safely and smoothly. This will include “body varials.”
- Learning to turn standing still. This will involve “frontside” and “backside” the equivalent of clockwise and anti-clockwise.
- Walking with the board. A simple exercise aimed to aid in the learning of the key concepts.
- Learning to push and ride along.
- Incorporate turns into your riding.
- Learn about going “fakie,” or going backwards, and again incorporating turns.
- Learn the “ollie.”
- Learn to “manual.”

What to tell your Parents:

Ability: Beginners
 
Age: 7-12.  Instruction: Fully Qualified Instruction from leading UK Skateboard School.
Safety: Skateboards, helmets and pads provided. Instructors are extremely experienced and do not allow anyone to attempt anything they feel is dangerous. For complete peace of mind £5m Public Limited Liability Insurance is held and all instructors are CRB checked.
Clothing: Appropriate sturdy footwear and loose clothing.
