Wildchild introduce children of all abilities, ages and backgrounds to a world of exciting and challenging activities. Our wide-ranging sport, adventure and creative options allow children to uncover their own strengths and talents and develop a confidence in their own abilities which will stay with them, long after their Wildchild experiences are over.
Outdoor Activities for Children
Nowadays, outdoor activities for children can be limited without the freedom to build dens; play in the woods; cycle away for the day; take themselves to museums or cinemas. Fear of traffic risks and ‘stranger danger’ can hold both us and our children captive. We believe (rather passionately!) that for the sake of their health and development, summer activities for kids should allow them to run wild now and again, whether indoors or out. They also deserve to be introduced to some fascinating, new and non-traditional kids school holiday activities such as archery or skateboarding and if that’s where their talents lie, be given the opportunity to shine.
The goal of Wild & Active school holiday activities for kids is to give children - those who love sport and those who aren’t so keen - the time and opportunity to enjoy new experiences and physical summer holiday activities, relish new challenges; make friends; be part of a team; stretch imaginations; find strengths and of course, build confidence.
Summer Activities for Kids
We all feel bigger and better when we’re doing something at which we excel and young people, encouraged to think creatively and independently at an early stage, learn more quickly to move forward and discover things for themselves. They are also more open to new ideas; keen and able to work with others to explore those ideas and willing to spend time and concentration pursuing a vision. Our summer activities for kids include innovative courses in animation and fashion design offers participants and chance to find a new direction, develop new interests and discover unexpected talents.
Wild & Creative, holiday activities for children open doors which children may not have even known were there! Our school holiday activities for kids aim to introduce, inspire and educate at the same time as providing tons of fun.
Our Outdoor Activities for kids offer a brilliant experience which allows children to experience the thrill of running ‘wild and adventurous’. Working as a team, allows our young clients to uncover their own strengths and talents, improve communication and teamwork skills and develop a confidence in their own abilities as well as a healthy respect for the abilities of others, which will stay with them, long after their Wildchild experiences are over.
Outdoor activities for children include challenges such as den building; abseiling, following an adventure trail; orienteering; navigational skills; map reading and perhaps most important of all - having to depend on their own and their teammates decision-making and initiative.
